Megabass Beagle

Megabass BEAGLE is a light saltwater minnow designed for nighttime rockfish fishing, with an emphasis on a stable swimming action even at slow retrieve speeds and a quick start as soon as the retrieve begins. Its body has more volume than typical small minnows, making it easier to cast even without specialized light-game tackle. It is suitable for targeting rockfish as well as small migratory fish such as juvenile trevally, barracuda, and sea bass.

The lineup includes two types: F (Floating) and SS (Slow Sinking). The F is ideal for fish holding near the surface, allowing you to entice them by retrieving and stopping the lure as it rises. The SS lets you adjust the running depth by allowing the lure to sink slowly during pauses. The basic technique is a slow steady retrieve, with stop-and-go retrieves and a hovering presentation just below the surface also possible depending on conditions. Despite its small body, it combines stable swimming action and responsiveness at slow speeds. It measures 35 mm in length and is equipped with two #14 hooks.
