Megabass’s Cookai SLIM 120 was developed as a slim minnow for a wide range of inshore sea bass fishing applications, including harbors, river mouths, surf, and tidal flats. Its ultra-slim body is combined with a tiny chip bill that minimizes resistance, producing a supple, tight-pitch rolling action even under low water pressure. Fine, line-like flashes reminiscent of real baitfish help trigger bites even when fish are slow to respond to lures.

Inside the body is a three-part moving-weight system consisting of two high-density tungsten weights and a carbon-steel ball. During the cast, the weights shift to stabilize the lure’s flight, enabling long-distance presentations even into headwinds and strong winds. During the retrieve, the low-resistance design featuring the tiny lip generates a tight rolling action, allowing the lure to swim with subtle flashes even at slower speeds. It is primarily suited to a steady retrieve, with the retrieve speed adjusted according to the strength of the current and the condition of the baitfish. It measures 122 mm in length, weighs 12 g, and features a floating design with three #6 hooks at the front and rear.
