Valleyhill Squid Seeker

Valleyhill’s Squid Seeker is a series offered in different weights and sizes to handle changing sea conditions and fishing spots in tip-run eging. The standard Squid Seeker 30 Regular is designed as an easy-to-use all-round model. Intended for depths of up to approximately 30 m, it is positioned as a pilot egi to use first when searching for a squid response. The body is made from a rigid foamed material that provides excellent buoyancy and helps limit water penetration. Based on the handling characteristics of the Regular model, the 35 Medium Heavy and 40 Heavy feature weight settings that make it easier to reach the bottom in strong winds, fast currents, and deeper spots.

The Squid Seeker 23 Micros is a downsized 3.0-size model weighing approximately 23 g, offering an option for the early season, high-pressure spots, and situations where it is difficult to get a response with standard-size egis. In addition, the Micros 2.5 is the smallest model in the series at size 2.5. It is designed not simply for targeting smaller squid, but as a downsized model for dealing with tough conditions and a wider variety of fishing environments. Its basic operation centers on tip-run-style enticing and falls, making it suitable for selecting different weights according to the current and water depth.
