HALCYON SYSTEM’s Plam80 Mid Shallow is a minnow-style rolling vibration lure with a slim, baitfish-like body, designed to probe the mid-shallow range more slowly. The main weight has been reduced by 3 g compared with the standard Plam80, lowering its specific gravity so you can retrieve it slowly through the same range while adapting to changes in tide level and current speed. It is also designed to complement the 18 g model, expanding your range-fishing options.

On a steady retrieve, it produces a natural rolling action with subtle vibrations that imitate a weakened baitfish. Even when the retrieve speed is increased, the action remains stable, maintaining its rolling motion without becoming erratic. The lure features a round lip that receives water flow consistently even as the line angle changes. By positioning the line eye away from the lip, the design helps prevent a larger snap from obstructing the water flow hitting the lip. It is primarily designed for a steady retrieve at a constant speed, while also responding to manipulation with twitches and jerks. The belly hook eye is positioned lower, near the center of the body, helping prevent the hook from tangling with the line during these actions.
