VARIVAS Shore Record Shock Leader [Fluorocarbon] is a shock leader designed to combine suppleness with extreme abrasion resistance, allowing anglers to continue targeting their intended courses while minimizing trouble in the rapidly changing conditions of shore saltwater fishing. Made with new VSF fluorocarbon, it offers the suppleness needed for improved knot strength, along with the abrasion resistance required to handle contact with rocky areas, reefs, breaklines, tetrapods, and other structure. Its supple line design is less likely to impede lure action, making it easier to approach fish with a reduced line presence even when using small lures.

The line surface features SP-T, a super-tough coating that encases the line in a resin film, helping to improve abrasion resistance and casting distance while minimizing deterioration caused by water absorption. It also uses parallel winding to prevent line flattening and maintain a perfectly round profile, bringing out the line’s original strength and straightness. Available in sizes from 6 to 35 lb, it is suited to shore-based middle-game applications including eging, seabass fishing, shore jigging, and rockfishing. This model is designed to be used as a leader attached to the end of PE line when you want to maximize lure action or target areas around structure.
