Bassday Hades

BASSDAY’s HADES is a shallow-running minnow designed for targeting shallow water. Its key feature is an action that briefly slips out of the current, creating a “chidoru”-style pause that entices strikes. Rather than making a large, erratic movement, it is designed around a natural action. The 127F combines a lipless body with a center-of-gravity transfer system using four spherical tungsten weights, which are secured by the TSL (Torsion Spring Lock System). This is designed to quickly return the weights to position after splashdown, helping the lure avoid excessive movement in the current and begin swimming naturally. It also features a fixed belly weight, and when retrieved slowly, it runs at a target depth of approximately 20–50 cm. It is suited to searching shallow areas close to the surface, including surf zones, tidal flats, submerged structure on rocky shores, and rivers.

The 75F is a compact 75 mm model based on the design concept of the 127F. It is tuned for a finer pitch and greater responsiveness to rod manipulation, making it easier to vary the action with changes in current and retrieve speed. It can search from just below the surface down to approximately 40 cm, and a slow retrieve produces the distinctive wake created by the HADES. Despite its compact body, it incorporates the TSL and a center-of-gravity transfer system with three spherical tungsten weights, with attention also given to casting posture and distance. The 127F weighs 25.3 g and is equipped with size #4 hooks, while the 75F weighs 11 g and is equipped with size #6 hooks; both models are sinking types. The 75F uses original heavy-wire size #6 hooks designed to handle large fish.
