BASSDAY’s LOGS was developed as a minnow designed to maximize casting distance within its size class and search a wide area. It features the proprietary TSL (Torsion Spring Lock System) and Shaft Glider System, which shift the weight toward the rear during the cast to stabilize the lure’s flight posture. The 140mm body has a slightly fat profile that readily catches water, producing a natural action reminiscent of log surfing. The scale pattern on the sides expresses a lifelike baitfish appearance by gradually narrowing the spacing of the lines toward the head and tail compared with the center section. The diving depth is set at 60–80cm.

The LOGS 140F has a subtle floating setting, adapts well to the water, and is easy to control even in waves and current. It is suited to slow presentations in shallow water, as well as night fishing while reading changes in the current through the rod tip. The LOGS 140S has a slow-sinking setting. Even after reaching the bottom, the body is less likely to tip over while keeping the hooks in contact with the bottom, allowing it to drift while being rocked by the waves. It is easier to achieve greater casting distance than the floating model and is suited to covering a wide area at a brisk pace. The base of the lip has been reinforced for use around rocky shores and seawalls, and it features three hooks with heavy-wire construction while taking hook-up performance into consideration.
