BURNS’ LD Twitcher 130 is a floating minnow completely redesigned from the “Living Dead SPL118,” which is modeled after a dying baitfish. Its curved body shape recreates the appearance of a weakened small fish floating on the surface. Measuring 130 mm in length and weighing 22.5 g, the body is 10 mm larger than the previous model.
On a slow retrieve, it dives while tracing an S-shaped path, while light twitches produce a darting panic action. With the rod held downward and continuous twitches and jerks applied while reeling, it darts three-dimensionally in all directions from the surface to a depth of approximately 50 cm. It also supports a deadly bait action, in which small twitches in current make the body quiver, as well as the “hotoke” method of leaving it floating on the surface. When using the lure, attaching the line directly to the eye is not recommended; use of a snap is advised. If replacing the stock single hooks, use a treble hook only on the front belly position and keep a single hook on the rear to help preserve the lure’s original action.
