Berkley’s Fun Jig is a jig head designed by Funky Yamaoka to accommodate a variety of techniques, including drifting, darting, and lift-and-fall presentations. Available in weights from 3.5g to 38g, it allows anglers to cover a wide range of depths—from the surface to the bottom—both from shore and offshore. Each weight is marked on the head for easy identification.
The uniquely vertically flattened head readily catches the current, creating a distinctive action when drifted in moving water. In addition to a standard retrieve, it supports darting with rod movements and lift-and-fall presentations. Three tuning eyes in total are positioned on the sides and bottom of the head, allowing anglers to adjust the action and setup by adding blades or treble hooks. Due to balance considerations, the 3.5g, 5g, and 7g models do not have side eyes. In addition to a basic jig head rig paired with a soft plastic, its design offers a wide range of presentation options and supports custom setups using the eyes.
