Berkley Super Fire Line

Berkley Super FireLine is a superline that achieves low stretch and high tensile strength through a thermally drawn construction unlike that of conventional PE lines. Dyneema material is thermally compressed and drawn using a microfused manufacturing process, aligning the fibers in a straight direction to help reduce stretch and sensitivity loss caused by loosening in the braid. This design makes it easier to detect changes in current and tentative takes on the lure, while providing enhanced control when fishing with jigs.

Berkley’s proprietary special coating provides excellent water shedding and helps minimize the effects of current, another feature that can help jigs reach the bottom more quickly. The improved coating is designed for a smoother surface, reduced fraying, and enhanced abrasion resistance, and it also accommodates the tightening of friction-based knots. The increased tensile strength makes it easier to choose a thinner, stronger line, and the range includes the standard type, Crystal Color, the multi-color Colored version for easier depth tracking, and Ultra Eight, featuring an eight-strand braid.
