Berkley’s Gulp! saltwater soft lure series is built around the appeal of its flavor- and scent-infused “Formula,” combined with a water-friendly material. The updated Formula enhances the lures’ soft, springy texture, action, and durability on the hook. Each model has a specific shape and purpose. The Saltwater Minnow 2" features a flattened, baitfish-inspired body and a horizontal tail. In addition to a steady retrieve that takes advantage of its sharp action, it can also be worked with a darting jig head.

The Saltwater Kabura Trailer 4" features a long straight tail and a long-arm double curly tail, along with a head shape that pairs easily with a Katikati-dama worm keeper. It is also compatible with single hooks. Its key features include long arms that are less likely to interfere with the movement of a tai-rubber skirt and thin tails that produce subtle vibrations. The SW Power Hog 3" has a slim 3-inch profile, making it well suited for presentations imitating shrimp and mantis shrimp-style prey. The Fat Hog 2.2" produces strong vibrations from its arms and subtle vibrations from its feelers and tail, and is compatible with an offset hook size 2. Depending on each model’s shape, it can be rigged on a jig head or darting jig head, as a Katikati-dama trailer, or for a free rig, light Texas rig, direct rig, and other setups.
