NAKAZIMA’s EGI SAFETY COVER is a hook cover that shields an egi’s umbrella-style hooks, helping prevent the hook points from snagging during storage and transport. This accessory attaches to the egi body and helps prevent egis from tangling with one another inside a tackle bag or case, keeping them organized while protecting the hook points. Although designed for egis, it is also compatible with the hooks of sutte and squid jigs, and can accommodate squid rigs with two-tiered hooks.
The cover is made of polypropylene and is available in M and L sizes to match different egi sizes. The M size is compatible with egis up to 3.0 sun, while the L size is designed for egis approximately 3.5–4.0 sun. In addition to the standard type, a value pack is available for fitting multiple egis. To use, place the cover over the umbrella-style hooks and confirm that the hook points are fully covered before storage. Depending on the shape of the egi or hooks, the cover may not fit, so be sure to check the actual shape as well as the compatible size. *The EGI SAFETY COVER ONE-LOCK is a separate model featuring an opening-and-closing tab and side holes.
