DUO’s Tide Minnow GHOST is a big minnow designed for long fights with large fish such as oonibe and trophy sea bass, with a focus on body and component strength, castability, and action. The 170F is a 170 mm, 46 g floating model designed to handle heavy loads by combining a thick-bodied construction with heavy-duty hooks and split rings. Its weight-transfer system features the “D-Bullet System,” developed with casting distance in mind for rough conditions and headwinds.

The action is tuned with a higher roll ratio, delivering a light, responsive retrieve despite its big-minnow profile. It runs at a depth of 0.6–1.0 m, making it suitable for situations where you want to work a consistent range from the surface, such as over shallow surf zones or expansive areas. The standard hooks are #1/0, and the hook-eye split rings are #6.5. The primary retrieve is a steady, consistent winding retrieve, working the range where large baitfish are expected while responding to changes in current and wave conditions. The series also includes the 150F and 170F HIGH TORQUE. The 150F prioritizes a smaller profile and ease of control, while the 170F HIGH TORQUE targets a wider, more powerful action and a shallow 0–0.6 m range through its unique lip shape and weight tuning.
