DUO Drag Metal

DUO’s Drag Metal series is designed for long-distance shore casting and easy control using a combination of steady retrieves, jerks, and falls. The standard Drag Metal Cast features casting performance from its compact, fat body, along with a stable swimming action and a horizontal sliding fall. On a steady retrieve, it wags its tail and responds quickly to jerks. The slim-bodied Drag Metal Cast Slim features a silhouette matched to common baitfish and a center-balanced design, delivering a light, responsive feel with reduced resistance during the retrieve. It accommodates a wide range of rod actions and swims stably even on a steady retrieve.

Each model has its own action and setup. The Slow is designed for a slow fall and bottom-oriented presentations, while the Shot emphasizes flashing action during the retrieve with a rear-weighted design for long-distance casting, a flat-sided body, and hooks fitted with willow blades. The tungsten-bodied TG maintains its weight in a smaller silhouette than lead models and uses its fast sink rate to handle deep water and strong-current conditions. The Hirame Selection comes standard with blade hooks and can be used with steady retrieves or stop-and-go presentations while taking advantage of the distinct body characteristics of the Cast and Slim models. Depending on the model, configurations include a front assist hook, a rear treble hook, or a rear blade hook.
