DUO Tide Minnow

DUO’s Tide Minnow series features models developed with clear concepts for the increasingly specialized seabass fishing game. Among them, the Tide Minnow SPRAT is designed to deliver stronger appeal through its thicker body than conventional Tide Minnow models, while aiming to be the “ultimate standard” that is easy to use in a wide range of conditions. The lineup includes the 100SF, 120SF, 140SF, 120S, and 140S, allowing anglers to choose according to bait size and the desired swimming depth.

The basic action is a wobbling roll, with the lure responding readily to retrieve speed and rod manipulation. In addition to a steady retrieve, it also supports twitching and jerking techniques. During casting, its stable flight posture makes it easier to cast accurately toward the intended target, even in windy conditions. The 120SF features a moving weight system and a slow-floating configuration, measuring 120 mm in length and weighing 19 g, with a diving range of 0.5–1.5 m. It is fitted with #5 hooks and #3 hook eyes. In shallow areas such as rivers and tidal flats, it is well suited to a slow retrieve as the primary technique, combined with twitches and jerks according to the current and bait conditions. The 140-size model is designed with stronger action and a deeper swimming depth than the 120-size model, making it suitable for use with larger bait and in open-water environments.
