DUEL EZ-Q Dart Master Rattle

DUEL’s ez-Q® DARTMASTER™ RATTLE squid jig is designed to deliver triple attraction through color, sound, and vibration, combining quick darting action with added vibration and a built-in rattle sound. It features an internal “shrimp sound” that recreates the noise made by a shrimp bending its tail as it escapes. The Pata-Pata® Foot Light retains the vibration of the original Pata-Pata® Foot while improving darting performance and casting distance and reducing retrieve resistance. The ribbed Wave Motion Light body also creates vibrations unlike those produced by a standard squid jig shape while helping to minimize retrieve resistance.

The body features a realistic shrimp shape that differs from the traditional Oita-style squid jig, while the sinker uses a “snagless” design that reduces resistance when working the jig and allows lead wire to be wrapped around it. The action and balance have also been carefully considered. The hooks feature a keimura finish and a Trick Hook design that helps reduce snags; they are designed to flex easily for easier release while also providing good recovery. Available in sizes 2.5, 3.0, and 3.5. Size 2.5 A1740 weighs 10 g and has a sink rate of approximately 5.0 seconds per meter, while size 3.0 A1741 weighs 14.5 g and has a sink rate of approximately 3.5 seconds per meter. This model is ideal for situations where reduced resistance during rod lifts is desired, or when you want to attract squid by combining rattle sound and vibration.
