DUEL EZ-Q Cast Kuwase Rattle

DUEL’s ez-Q® CAST RATTLE squid jig combines its traditional “feeding” action with the vibrations of a Color Rattle and Patapata® Feet, appealing to squid through both sound and movement. The internal glow-in-the-dark and red rattles produce an “shrimp sound” that recreates the noise made by escaping shrimp, enhancing the jig’s presence underwater. A “♪” mark is placed on the back to make the Color Rattle easy to identify.

The body features a Wave Motion Body with an irregular, textured shape that generates strong vibrations difficult to produce with conventional squid-jig designs. Combined with Patapata® Feet that vibrate under water resistance, it attracts squid with jerking actions or a steady retrieve. The Rolling Shaft rotates smoothly to help reduce line twist and also contributes to a natural, shimmering action when affected by current or waves. The Tomahawk Sinker Bumper or Snagless Bumper is designed to protect the sinker and body, reduce snagging, and improve sensitivity when the jig reaches the bottom. The Trick Hook is designed to stretch moderately to help improve recovery rates, while its Keimura finish adds an additional glowing attraction. The basic presentation involves jerking or a steady retrieve, with tension falls inserted between actions to create pauses that give squid time to take the jig. The 2.5 size weighs 10 g and sinks at approximately 3.9 seconds per meter, while the 3.0 size weighs 14 g and sinks at approximately 3.2 seconds per meter.
