DUEL Armored Fluoro+

DUEL’s ARMORED® F+ is a main line that combines Ultra PE and fluorocarbon, designed to enhance ease of handling while retaining the strength and sensitivity of PE line. It uses DUEL’s proprietary FRD (Fluorocarbon Resin Dispersion) technology, in which fluorocarbon resin is dispersed at the nano level throughout the polyethylene resin. Rather than applying a coating only to the surface, this structure disperses the resin within the line itself to improve smoothness and durability.

With a moderate degree of stiffness and body, the line helps reduce slack during casting, making it suitable for fishing that emphasizes quick lure start-up and controllability. According to the manufacturer’s published figures, it offers improved abrasion resistance, strength, sensitivity through low stretch, and casting distance compared with conventional PE lines. With a specific gravity of 1.0, it is designed to blend relatively easily with the water for a PE line. The lineup includes 100 m and 200 m spools, available in Golden Yellow and Neon Green. Derivative models with a fishing type in the product name differ in spool length, color, marking intervals, and other specifications—not in the line’s fundamental performance.
