Decoy (katsuichi) Smart Leader

KATSUICHI’s DECOY Smart Leader is designed for quick replacement without having to assemble a leader system, prioritizing ease of setup. It connects via a loop-to-loop connection: make a loop in the main line and pass it through the Smart Leader’s braided PE loop. This minimizes the need to retie when the leader breaks in the field.

The leader itself is made of fluorocarbon line for improved resistance to abrasion against structure. The terminal end can be connected to a snap or similar component, making it suitable for saltwater lure fishing such as eging and light shore jigging. The braided PE loop is designed to help reduce line trouble, and is color-coded by size for easy identification when using multiple leader diameters. The leader is 2 m long and available in sizes 2, 3, 4, and 5. This model is easy to use when you want to replace a leader quickly, as well as for anglers who are unfamiliar with tying knots.
