Decoy (katsuichi) Rocket Magic

DECOY’s Rocket Magic SV-70 is a refined jig head for light-game fishing, based on the previous Rocket Plus model and featuring a Magic Keeper that helps reduce worm slippage. Taking into account the pulling resistance and sensitivity felt during retrieves, as well as castability, it combines a slim profile that makes it easy to swim worms horizontally with a well-balanced straight-point hook.

The lineup includes 0.3–1.8 g weights with a size #8 hook and 2.0–3.5 g weights with a size #6 hook. The micro sizes of 0.6 g and under are easy to pair with carolina-style rigs and support precise presentations with lightweight rigs. Meanwhile, the size #6 hook is paired with heavier weights, making it suitable for worm combinations intended for rockfish and sea bass. When rigging a worm, mount it straight along the shape of the head and secure it with the Magic Keeper to take advantage of the horizontal swimming action and slim profile. Since the hook size and weight vary by model, you can select the appropriate option based on the size of the worm, the desired handling characteristics, and the rig being used, including carolina-style rigs.
