Decoy (katsuichi) Shore Head

DECOY’s Shore Head SGH-1 is a jighead-style shore fishing item designed to let anglers enjoy bait fishing with the feel of lure fishing. Simply attach natural bait such as ragworms or krill and tie on the line to get started. It also allows natural bait to be combined with the rig in situations where soft plastics are unlikely to produce a response. Based on a football-style shape, the head is designed to resist tipping and maintain its position. A lock keeper helps prevent natural bait from slipping out of position on the hook, while the body shape makes it easy to hold the bait securely. It is also equipped with a strong hook capable of handling unexpected big fish and powerful biters such as black sea bream.

To use it, set the bait on the hook and tie on the line, then cast it like a ledger rig and slowly drag it along the bottom. It can also be lowered slowly from the side of a seawall or pier to search the midwater zone. The design makes it easy to switch between bottom-dragging and drop-down techniques, allowing anglers to adapt their approach to locations such as surf beaches and breakwaters. Available sizes are #6 with 3.5 g, #6 with 5 g, #4 with 7 g, and #4 with 9 g, allowing selection according to the fishing location and presentation based on hook size and weight.
