Decoy (katsuichi) Jig Head

KATSUICHI’s DECOY JIGHEAD series is designed for saltwater fishing, allowing anglers to choose the head shape and hook specifications according to the way the worm is rigged, the target depth, and bottom conditions. The Slidin' Head Heavy SV-46H is a joint-rig-compatible model featuring a clip-eye system that enables one-touch hook attachment. It can be easily combined with straight hooks, offset hooks, and other hook styles. For weights of 7–14 g, hooks with an eye inner diameter of at least φ1.0 mm are recommended, while weights of 18–28 g require an eye inner diameter of at least φ1.2 mm. When using the Kilo Hook series, the recommended hook sizes are #2 or larger and #2/0 or larger, respectively.

The Rock Bomb SV-57 is designed for rockfish, combining a football head with an offset hook. Its shape resists tipping onto its side and helps keep the worm standing upright, while its weedless design minimizes debris pickup. This combination allows anglers to probe the bottom in rocky areas while reducing snags. The Aji-Caro Head SV-58 features Jig 11 Strong Wire, a heavy-gauge wire designed for larger horse mackerel that can be difficult to handle with fine-wire jig heads. It is compatible with heavy-weight Carolina rigs for boat ajing and vertical presentations using an inverse drop-shot system. The design allows small worms to be worked naturally in deep water while also accommodating the powerful runs of hooked fish. It can also be used from shore or paired with light tackle when targeting rockfish.
