KATSUICHI DECOY’s S.G. Head Heavy (SV-34H) is a jig head developed by upgrading the conventional S.G. Head to an unprecedented super-heavy weight, designed for confronting oversized targets in unexplored deep-water areas. It is particularly suited to offshore worming for large rockfish, such as groupers, and pelagic species, allowing anglers to search deep ranges by taking advantage of its weight.
Inheriting the basic concept of the S.G. Head, it features a head shape designed for use with a rigged soft bait, along with an assist eye on the underside of the head. This allows anglers to add support hooks such as treble hooks and accommodates blade tuning, enabling adjustments to setups that differ from using a soft bait alone. The lineup includes #5/0 in 28g and 36g, #7/0 in 45g and 60g, and #10/0 in 80g and 100g, allowing selection according to the size of the soft bait, the target depth, and the required reach. This super-heavy model is ideal for targeting the bottom with large soft baits and worming in deep-water areas.
