Decoy (katsuichi) Trailer Jack Mini

KATSUICHI’s DECOY Trailer Jack Mini is a trailer hook system designed to turn short bites on jig heads into solid hook-ups. For ajing and mebaring, thread the product’s loop onto the hook of a jig head rigged with a soft bait, then slide the rubber stopper into place to secure it. By adding an extra hook point, it provides a setup that can turn bites such as “knocks,” “taps,” and “trembles”—which might otherwise end without a hookup—into landed fish.

Installation is simple: thread the loop onto the jig head hook and move the rubber stopper into position. The trailer hook can be set where it is less likely to significantly affect the soft bait’s action, allowing it to be used in addition to a standard jig head rig. Available in sizes S, M, and L, it can be selected according to the size of the jig head and soft bait being used. This model is a trailer hook for revising your hook setup when you can feel bites but cannot convert them into hookups.
