Decoy (katsuichi) AS-01 Assist

DECOY AS-01 Assist is a dedicated hook designed for making assist hooks. Intended for jigging with PE line, it is used as a standalone hook combined with assist line or braided line to create a finished assist hook. Primarily used on the front of metal jigs, it allows you to adjust the assist length and attachment position to suit the lure and fishing style.

Available in sizes L and LL, it can be selected according to the size of the jig and the target fish. Rather than being a finished assist hook, it is an easy-to-use base hook for creating your own setup with your preferred line material and length, and is also used in finished assist hooks such as Dancing Jack. By adjusting the hook orientation and the way it is connected to the line, you can create an assist hook tailored to your jig.
