TACKLEHOUSE’s CONTACT AENO. is a slim, sinking jig minnow developed for targeting sea-run cherry salmon and white-spotted char in Hokkaido’s coastal waters. This model refines the fundamental performance of a jig minnow. Its narrow teardrop-shaped body minimizes retrieve resistance even in complex currents, waves, and eddies, while the fixed low-center-of-gravity design helps prevent the lure from rising during the retrieve. Its action is a tail swing with a rolling motion, starting to move quickly immediately after splashdown and handling high-speed retrieves with ease.

The CA.30 is a 129 mm, 30 g sinking model. Its slim body produces low air resistance, while its weight delivers both long casting distance and a smooth sinking action. It comes standard with a tail hook, while the belly eye is positioned off-center to allow an additional hook to be fitted for targeting bites around the center of the body. It can generally be used by allowing it to sink to the desired range after splashdown, then retrieving it. A steady retrieve produces the tail-swing action, while a high-speed retrieve efficiently covers a wide area. Rod movements can be added as needed to create presentations that combine falling and retrieving. The standard hook is an ST-46 #4, and the ring is #4.
