TACKLE HOUSE’s CONTACT FALLKE is a sinking pencil designed for long-distance casting in surf and pelagic game fishing, with a retrieve range from slow to fast. The CFK30 is a 95 mm, 30 g slow-sinking model featuring fixed internal weights. Its through-wire construction provides durability while also helping achieve long casting distance.
It produces a natural action on a slow retrieve, while its heavy weight and back fin enable fast retrieves. As the retrieve speed increases, it generates an appealing wobbling action accompanied by darting movements. In the surf, it is designed to maintain its swimming action even in the backwash, and it can also be used with a fast retrieve when targeting pelagic fish. It is primarily suited to covering the water with a steady retrieve while varying the speed, but can also be worked with darting movements as conditions require. The standard hooks are ST-46 #4, and the split rings are #4.
