TACKLEHOUSE’s Resistance Morkyn is a slow-sinking, surface-oriented lure developed to provide a different feel in operation from minnows and conventional sinking pencils. By allowing ample play for the multiple built-in weights and controlling their movement, it produces a wide variety of actions in response to rod work and line tension.

Underwater, it can create a movement reminiscent of a table turn, while feeding the lure after a twitch transitions it into a wide action. Its slow-sinking density setting helps keep it from breaking the surface even in fast current, allowing it to attract fish while sinking in a horizontal posture. To better understand its characteristics, first check how the action changes with rod manipulation and line tension in a bright area where the lure is easy to see. The model is MO106, measuring 106 mm in length and weighing 16 g. It comes standard with ST-46 #5 hooks and #3 split rings. Rather than limiting it to a straight retrieve, this sinking pencil is designed to be worked with a combination of twitches, feeding the lure forward, and controlled sinking to match the target depth and current.
