TACKLE HOUSE’s CONTACT FEED. POPPER is a saltwater popper designed to produce a clear popping sound even with a light jerk, making it suitable for everything from casting to breaking fish to concentrated popping in pinpoint areas. The mouth cup is designed with sound quality in mind, while its nearly upright floating posture, sitting just at the water’s surface, helps create a position that makes it easier for fish to inhale the lure. Its compact, high-density body is also designed for long casting distances, and the lineup offers a wide range of sizes intended for species such as amberjack, bonito, tuna, dolphinfish, and Japanese seabass, for both shore and offshore fishing.

The lineup ranges from the Feed Popper 70 to the 175, with sizes from 100 to 175 available for selection according to baitfish size and tackle. The Feed Popper 150 and 175 feature the R-Unit, which creates a natural rocking action that does not synchronize with the waves while the lure is paused. The 135 achieves long casting distance with a fixed rear weight, and is designed to generate strong appeal immediately after splashdown. Renewed from the original model for use with PE line, the CFP121 features a revised body compared with the former Feed Popper 120, while the CFP121SW is a sinking model with a newly designed body. Sinking Works can be used as a popper during the retrieve after splashdown, or worked while allowed to sink to search just beneath the surface, making it possible to choose the appropriate approach for rough water or when covering a wide area. A hookless model is also available for the 150, allowing settings to be customized according to the hooks used.
