Tackle House Sinking Shad 70

Tackle House’s SINKING SHAD is designed with a flattened body and lipless construction to achieve an S-shaped swimming path reminiscent of a sinking pencil, along with a wobbling action accompanied by an irregular rolling motion. It is easy to bring out a natural action even during a slow retrieve, while the body’s broad side profile responds to waves, current, and subtle changes in the water. When it encounters variations in the current, it moves with an unstable, swaying action that creates behavior reminiscent of a baitfish.

Designed for seabass fishing in bays and estuaries where anglers can take advantage of current, it is also suited to situations where deep-bodied baitfish such as sappa, ponyfish, sea chub, and horse mackerel are present. It is best used with a steady slow retrieve, or by letting it drift into the current to draw out an action generated by the moving water. This sinking model measures 70 mm in length and weighs 13 g, and is equipped with STBL41TN #6 standard hooks and #3 rings.
