DAIWA’s SALTIGA J TS is a technical short spinning jigging rod developed for precise, intuitive jig control. Its 5'5" short length provides excellent maneuverability and a lightweight feel while reducing physical strain during jerking, making it easy to impart the desired action to the jig in a variety of conditions.

The blank features SVF Nanoplus (M40X), while AGS Type-R guides and CWS are combined to pursue reduced weight and enhanced sensitivity. The new ZERO-SEAT features a low-profile design with minimal steps for improved hand comfort, supporting comfortable jerking operation. The 55S-2.5 is the light model in the series, handling everything from fast jerking down to depths of 40 m and beyond while minimizing physical strain, to slow presentations that suppress jig movement in deep water. The 55S-3 is the all-round model at the heart of the series, designed to make it easy to develop jig actions across a wide range of depths. The 55S-4 is the most powerful model in the series for deep-water applications. Its responsive tip makes it easy to transmit input directly to the jig, and it is designed for working heavy jigs and fighting large fish.
