Daiwa UVF Emeraldas

Daiwa’s UVF Emeraldas Dura Sensor ×4 White + Si is a four-strand PE line designed with sensitivity in mind, allowing anglers to detect changes and subtle indications from casting through the fall, pause, and hook-setting stages of eging, while also providing confidence during the fight. Its highly visible white color makes it easier to monitor the line’s movement and condition.

The line uses new TOUGH PE fibers, which are thicker and closer to a perfectly round profile than conventional fibers. Four of these fibers, developed for improved strength, abrasion resistance, and durability, are braided together and treated with Daiwa’s proprietary UVF process and special silicone treatment, Evo Silicone2 (+Si2). The combination of TOUGH PE and Evo Silicone2 achieves abrasion resistance of 300% or more in manufacturer testing compared with Daiwa’s previous products. The line is also designed for smooth handling and durability.

The lineup includes sizes 0.4 to 0.8, available in 100 m and 150 m spools. The white color is useful when you want to visually track the lure’s movement or changes in the line during the fall. Choose the line size and spool length according to the reel’s line capacity, fishing location, and egi size. As this is a braided line, the stated sizes are reference values.
