Daiwa Himepon TG

DAIWA’s HIMEPON TG is a tungsten version of SOULS’ HIMEPON metal jig, designed for tai jigging with the enhanced maneuverability made possible by tungsten’s high specific gravity. Its faster fall than lead models and stable performance that resists being carried by the current make it easier to control the target depth and fall posture. It also rises quickly and responds to a wide range of techniques, from light jerks to continuous jerks, while adapting to changes in current flow and line tension. Another feature is its ability to attract fish with jerks and quickly transition into a fall.

The body is made of tungsten and is available in 30 g, 40 g, 60 g, and 80 g weights. Select the appropriate weight according to the water depth, current flow, and required fall speed. The lineup also includes the PGB Marker Color, featuring plain abalone, glow, and black shell finishes, with markers on the body designed to serve as an aiming point for attacks. No hooks are included as standard, so hooks must be prepared separately for use. Primarily intended for tai jigging, it is also suitable for saltwater jigging targeting species such as sea-run cherry salmon and flatfish, making use of HIMEPON’s strong appeal.
