DAIWA’s SALTIGA J LOWRESPONSE is an offshore jigging rod featuring a low-response design developed to manipulate jigs naturally and entice strikes, while its powerful butt section provides reliable lifting power. Every component, including the blank, guides, and reel seat, has been carefully refined with an emphasis on comfort and operability, making it easy to continue jigging throughout the day. With a supple tip and powerful butt, it is designed to move jigs naturally not only with rhythmic one-pitch jerks in the vertical position, but also when drifting with the boat.

The spinning models can be selected according to the weight of the jig being used, water depth, and the boat’s drift style, primarily for inshore pelagic fish. The 63S-3 is the most versatile model in the series, handling one-pitch jerks with everything from semi-long to long jigs. The 62S-3/4 features a progressive taper that combines a No. 3-class tip for natural jig manipulation with the powerful No. 4-class butt strength. The 62S-4 is designed for jigs up to 300 g and depths of up to 120 m and beyond, performing across a wide range of techniques from vertical jigging to drifting with the boat. The 60S-5 is the heavy model with the strongest lifting power in the series, designed for jigs up to 350 g and depths of up to 150 m and beyond.
