DAIWA’s KOHGA TECHNICURLY is a silicone tie for tai-rubber fishing. Its uniquely shaped curly design, with an extremely thin tail section, responds delicately even to slight water movement, producing complex vibrations with varying intensity and an irregular zigzag action. The design pursues a curly shape that continues moving from attracting fish over a wide area right up to the moment before the bite, enticing them with irregular action created by its unique cut.

The same shape is available in thicknesses of 0.35 mm, 0.5 mm, 0.8 mm, and 1.0 mm. The strength of the vibrations can be adjusted by changing the thickness without significantly altering the shape or feel of the action. A key feature is the ability to select the thickness according to the current and fish activity. It is also compatible with the β System. By threading the assist line through the Syncro Hole in the center of the tie, the tie and hooks move in sync, helping reduce issues such as hook tangles and improve hooking performance. As a starting point, 0.8 mm is recommended: use 0.5 mm with a fast retrieve in strong current and high fish activity, 1.0 mm with a slow retrieve in strong current and low fish activity, and 0.8 mm with a slow-to-medium retrieve when the current is weak.
