Daiwa Tachi-jigi Hook Issen SS

The DAIWA TACHIUO JIGGING HOOK ISSEN SS is a Quattro treble hook designed with a focus on hooking performance and penetration for tachiuo jigging, and is compatible with TG Bait jigs weighing 45–180 g. It uses a long-taper, straight-point hook with SaqSas treatment. The fluorine-based special plating on the hook surface enhances penetration compared with conventional painted hooks. The design is well suited to detecting small bites and short bites, while enabling rapid penetration when the point catches the target’s jaw.

The hook features a flattened design for increased strength and is shaped to resist opening during the fight. Two types are available: Quattro and treble. Both are barbless designs with the points turned inward to help reduce the chance of fish coming off after hooking. Front, rear, and front-and-rear sets are available for both the Quattro and treble types, allowing selection according to the TG Bait setup and mounting position. Sizes S, M, and L are offered, enabling selection based on jig size and hook balance. The hooks can be used in combinations of front and rear models, or the front and rear can be replaced together using a set, accommodating a variety of tachiuo jigging hook setups.
