DAIWA’s DR STICK R is a saltwater soft lure designed for Ebing targeting tuna and bonito species, bringing back in full the straight worm long sought after for Ebing. The delta tail at the rear of the body generates subtle vibrations even when the retrieve is paused, providing appeal during the fall and while the lure is held stationary. Despite its soft texture, it uses a high-strength worm material that is resistant to slipping off the hook and tearing, making it easy to continue Ebing efficiently.

The lineup includes 3.5-inch and 4.2-inch models. You can select the silhouette according to bait size and conditions, while the two-tone core models, such as Glow Pink Core, use a core material that makes the silhouette appear smaller, making them suitable when fish are focused on small bait. They are primarily used with an Ebing rig, with recommended hooks including the D-MAX Gōbiki Kihada #2/0X and a recommended leader strength of 50–80 lb. In addition to a steady retrieve, creating a pause after moving the lure allows you to take advantage of the delta tail’s subtle vibrations. The 3.5-inch model measures 89 mm, while the 4.2-inch model is based on a 4.2-inch profile, allowing you to adjust the bait size and level of attraction to suit the situation.
