Daiwa UVF Gekkabijin Duraheavy X4+1+Si2

DAIWA’s UVF GEKKABIJIN DURAHEAVY ×4＋1＋Si2 is a high-specific-gravity PE line designed for light saltwater fishing. It uses high-specific-gravity FEP as the core material and combines four PE strands with one FEP strand in a “4＋1 construction,” resulting in a sinking specification with a specific gravity of 1.10–1.20. Its sinking characteristics differ from those of standard PE lines, making it suitable for situations where anglers want to target different depths or vary their rig manipulation.

The line uses TOUGH PE with thick, nearly round fibers, along with UVF processing, which condenses the fibers during braiding, and densely woven Muscle Braiding. This construction enhances strength, abrasion resistance, and durability while helping reduce break-offs from shock and line tangles. In addition, EvoSilicone2 processing improves surface smoothness and durability, while also helping reduce noise during casting. The line is finished in white pink and features 1 m-wide black markings every 50 m to indicate the amount of line used. It is available in No. 0.3, No. 0.4, and No. 0.5, each supplied in 200 m spools.
