Daiwa Kohga Beta SS Spare Unit

DAIWA’s Kouga Replacement Unit β SS is a standard replacement unit for tai-rubber fishing, combining a straight tie and skirt. Easy to use as a pilot unit for assessing conditions, it features the new β System connection system, which allows the tie and hooks to be replaced quickly and easily. A uniquely shaped metal ring and silicone cap secure the tie and skirt in place. The replacement method has been redesigned from the conventional style of clamping the skirt into the cap, making it easy to change the setup even onboard.

The assist line is equipped with uniquely shaped synchronizing beads. The beads generate buoyancy when responding to the current and synchronize the movement of the hooks and tie, creating a design focused on hooking performance. The standard setup includes two Koga Hook SS (Sakusa) size S hooks with a special fluorine-based plating finish. Colors are categorized for pilot use, murky water, clear water, and deep water, allowing you to select according to the fishing conditions. Set it on a tai-rubber head and use the β System to change the tie and skirt as needed.
