DAIWA’s FALLBAIT TG is a high-density rolling-fall jig designed to trigger bites not only by presenting an enticing profile to the target, but also through reaction strikes. Making the most of tungsten’s high specific gravity, it is suited to techniques that actively move the jig, including falling, jerking, and one-pitch retrieves.
In addition to a high-speed rolling fall enabled by its center-balance design, the jig features DAIWA’s unique Water Receive shape, which combines water-slicing edges with a water-displacing profile. Even in situations with layered currents or a strong bottom current, it falls while rolling along a straight trajectory that cuts through the current, and its design makes it easier to increase the number of turns even when working against the current. The line eye is positioned slightly toward the upper side to balance the jig’s posture during the fall with the assist hook.
In addition to its high-speed rolling fall, it is also suited to vertical fishing. Adding rod action generates feeding and foraging sounds, triggering the predatory instincts of fish-eating species.
