DAIWA’s DRAGGER X is a shore jigging rod series designed to deliver increased power while maintaining an action that makes it easy to continue casting and working lures for extended periods. Featuring blanks capable of handling large fish, the rods are also designed for easy operation, making them suitable for beginners and anglers who are less confident in their casting ability.

The blanks feature BRAIDING X, which uses carbon tape reinforcement to help suppress twisting during operation. Strength is secured with slim blanks, making it easier to transfer power into rod handling. On the multi-piece and reverse-joint models, BRAIDING X is applied throughout the blank, while on the telescopic models it is incorporated into the butt section. K guides are used to help reduce line tangles, and the guide layout has been reassessed to balance tangle resistance with smooth line release. ML through MH models feature AIR SENSOR seats incorporating carbon fiber, while the H models use DPS seats.

The 100MH, the core model in the series, is a standard rod suited to a wide range of locations, from breakwaters to rocky shores. It handles lures from 20 to 70 g and metal jigs from 30 to 90 g, with a compatible line rating of PE #2–3. The 96MH is a shorter model offering excellent maneuverability, while the 100H is a powerful model designed for heavier lures and larger bluefish. Three-piece models, including the 100M-3, 100MH-3, and 100H-3, as well as telescopic models such as the T100M-3, T100MH-3, and T100H-3, are also available for anglers who prioritize portability.
