DAIWA’s REAL BLADE TG is a tungsten blade jig designed for blade jigging from a boat, allowing anglers to cover a wide area with casting and high-speed retrieves. Intended for pelagic species such as Spanish mackerel, it features a high-density tungsten body that provides casting distance while quickly reaching fast-moving baitfish. Models such as 30 g and 40 g are available, with a compact silhouette that makes it easy to match the size of the bait.

The uniquely designed tail fin helps reduce the risk of the hook tangling with the body or line during casting and the fall, while also stabilizing the lure’s posture during the retrieve. The thin, responsive Colorado-style blade generates vibration and flash as it rotates, creating an action inspired by the swimming motion of baitfish such as anchovies. The body, blade, and hook are connected with a ball-bearing swivel arrangement designed to minimize interference with the blade’s rotation. The standard snelled Muroaji hook setup is designed to provide reliable hooking on fish that rotate with the blade, while the heavy-wire construction provides strength. The basic technique is to cast, let the lure reach the bottom, and then retrieve it at high speed, efficiently covering the surface to mid-water range while taking advantage of the stable swimming action provided by the tail fin.
