DAIWA’s SALTIGA LJ is an offshore jigging rod designed to combine comfortable jigging action for light jigging with the power needed to fight large fish. Its guides feature lightweight, highly sensitive AGS technology, transmitting changes in current strength, jig movement, and fish chases conveyed through the line to the blank. It also incorporates X45 FULL SHIELD for strength and HVF NANOPLUS, which combines power with light weight.

The lineup consists of tubular-blank mid-response models, low-response models featuring solid tips, spinning models, and TG (THRILL GAME) models made entirely with MegaTop full-solid blanks. Despite their slim blanks, the TG models offer surprising resilience and a unique bending profile, producing supple, smooth-edged jigging actions while helping reduce the risk of losing fish during the fight. The 62HB TG pairs well with short to semi-long jigs and, depending on the technique, can also handle long jigs. The 62XHB TG is a core model with a broad range of compatibility with different jig weights and shapes, while the 62XXHB TG is a high-power model designed for high-resistance jigs, deep water, fast currents, and drifting with the boat. Choose according to the target depth, the jig’s resistance during retrieval, and the boat’s drifting method, making use of each model’s distinct action and power.
