Daiwa Eging X

DAIWA’s EGING X is an entry-level model designed for anglers who want to get started with eging, offering easy handling for basic techniques such as casting and rod jerking. The butt section features Braiding X, which tightens the outermost layer of the blank in an X-shaped pattern with carbon tape. This design suppresses twisting generated during rod operation and reduces power loss while maintaining the quick, lightweight feel of the slim blank. It is designed to provide a supple yet stable feel with minimal blank wobble, allowing anglers to smoothly perform basic actions such as casting and jerking egi lures.

The rod is equipped with stainless-steel frame K guides to help reduce line tangles, and a FUJI VSS reel seat, a standard choice for eging rods. The 83ML prioritizes maneuverability and a quick, lightweight feel and is compatible with 1.8–3.5-size egi lures. It is suited to efficiently covering a wide area during the autumn season. The 86ML accommodates the same egi sizes while being configured with an emphasis on casting distance. The 83M prioritizes maneuverability and a quick, lightweight feel and is compatible with 2.5–4-size egi lures. The 86M accommodates the same egi sizes and is designed with an emphasis on casting distance. Both are designed as all-season models capable of handling a wide range of egi sizes.
