Daiwa HRF Gaburi Curly

DAIWA’s HRF Gaburi Curly is a grub-style soft lure designed for a wide range of rockfish. Its slim, highly responsive curly tail attracts fish with its action. The tail is shaped to catch water easily, allowing it to start moving with even the slightest manipulation. Combined with a body covered in countless ribs, it generates the distinctive vibration of a curly tail. In addition to Amino X, an attractant ingredient, the body is infused with garlic and shrimp scents. A slit on the back makes it easy to align the hook in the center and rig the lure straight.

Available in 2.9-inch, 3.5-inch, and 4.2-inch sizes, the 2.9-inch model offers a relatively compact profile for targeting wary fish, while the 3.5-inch model is a versatile mid-size option suited to a wide range of fishing environments. The 4.2-inch model is ideal for targeting grouper and other species that respond to its larger profile and strong appeal. With a jig head rig, use the slit on the back as a guide for inserting the hook through the center. With a Texas rig or free rig using an offset hook, it can be worked along the bottom with lift-and-fall retrieves, dragging, or swimming while helping reduce snags. The recommended hook sizes for the 4.2-inch model are 2/0–5/0 for offset hooks and 5/0–7/0 for jig heads.
