DAIWA’s UVF GEKKABIJIN DURA SENSOR＋Si² is a PE line designed with “Muscle PE,” which densely braids ultra-fine PE fibers to pursue the abrasion resistance and ease of handling required for light saltwater fishing. It combines “TOUGH PE,” made with thick, nearly perfectly round fibers, with “Evo Silicone2” treatment for improved smoothness and durability and reduced line noise, as well as UVF treatment to enhance strength and sensitivity. In addition to the specifications of the DURA SENSOR series, which offers more than 300% greater abrasion resistance compared with the manufacturer’s standard, its tightly braided construction further improves the line quality.

The Sakura Pink color is easy to see both day and night, with black markings placed every 25 meters. This makes it easy to check the line’s position and the amount of line released, and it is also suitable for long-distance casting with Carolina rigs or casting floats. Sizes 0.15–0.3 are available in 3- or 4-strand construction, offering ultra-fine diameters focused on sensitivity and durability. Sizes 0.4–0.6 feature an 8-strand construction for applications requiring greater strength. The 150 m spool can be used twice at 75 m each, while the 200 m spool can be used twice at 100 m each, allowing you to choose according to your fishing style and reel.
