DAIWA’s VADEL SLJ AIR Portable is an entry-level model designed to make it easy to get started with super light jigging, while providing the fundamental performance needed for real-world fishing. Its lightweight blank is combined with a highly responsive solid tip, making jigs easy to control. The baitcasting models also make it easier to detect bottom contact. Bites during the fall are easier to convert into hooksets, and the rod handles precise presentations with lightweight jigs.

The 63LB-S is a light-power baitcasting model designed for jigs weighing 10–45 g and PE line sizes 0.4–0.8. It measures 1.91 m in length and features a two-piece, center-cut design, with a packed length of 100 cm and a standard weight of just 85 g. The two-piece construction enhances portability and makes the rod easy to transport and store. This model is well suited to situations where anglers want to take advantage of baitcasting tackle, such as working shallow water with lightweight jigs or targeting the bottom while confirming contact.
