DAIWA’s KAMEN SINKER BOAT 3 is an additional sinker designed to increase the weight of egi lures for tip-run eging, making it easier to target deeper water. It features a compact body shape designed for reduced water resistance, minimizing resistance during jerks while allowing easy rod work at the desired depth. Its shape emphasizes an integrated feel with the egi, helping prevent the balance from being disrupted during the fall. The front is also fitted with a 3D eye, creating an appearance that appeals to the predatory nature of bigfin reef squid.
To attach it, insert the KAMEN SINKER BOAT 3 into the head of the egi, then secure it with a separately prepared snap and the included band. For the 7–40 g models, hook the band onto the egi’s built-in sinker and attach it diagonally over the egi’s line eye. If there is excessive looseness, stability can be improved by using two bands. For the 50, 60, and 80 g models, attach the first band diagonally between the egi’s line eye and built-in sinker, then secure the second band in a figure-eight configuration from the egi’s built-in sinker to the head of the KAMEN SINKER BOAT 3. Compatible egi lures include the Emeraldas Boat series, and weights from 7 to 80 g are available.
