Daiwa Emeraldas MX

DAIWA’s EMERALDAS MX is designed to deliver a high level of sensitivity and maneuverability for eging, balancing fundamental performance with practical on-the-water performance. The blank uses HVF Nanoplus, while X45 suppresses twisting generated during casting and egi jerking. This design makes it easier to transmit the angler’s movements to the egi and enables smooth actions from light, responsive jerking through to hook setting.

The reel seat features a lightweight, highly sensitive Air Sensor Seat, while the rear grip uses a carbon monocoque rear grip. These features help transmit vibrations to the angler’s hand and also provide a well-balanced feel during operation. The reverse spigot joint construction delivers an action with a supple feel. The 83ML and 86ML are medium-light models designed for 1.8–3.5-size egis, with the 86ML offering a length focused on balancing casting performance and maneuverability. The 86ML-S is a sensitive model equipped with the highly sensitive solid Megatop material, making it easier to detect changes in current and egi movement through the rod tip. It is suitable for everything from sight fishing to deep-water zones offshore.
