DAIWA’s GEKKABIJIN MX AJING is designed for efficiently covering areas around night lights and near the bottom in shallow water while delicately working lightweight jig heads and metal jigs. It combines a lightweight feel provided by its hollow construction with the controllability of a solid tip, allowing anglers to detect the presence of lightweight rigs and impart subtle actions.

The 55L-S is a short model designed to balance casting distance and controllability. It casts jig heads and metal jigs around 1 g over a wide area, while its responsive solid tip enables precise, subtle shaking actions. In addition to mid- to short-range fishing in bays and around the light-and-dark boundaries of night lights, it is also suited to delicate presentations that rely on detecting faint currents and seams.

The 66L-S is a standard model that primarily handles jig heads around 1 g, as well as split shots and metal jigs. It is easy to operate from high seawalls, and its longer rod stroke can be used for lift-and-fall presentations to search a wide range of depths where horse mackerel are following the lure.

The lineup also includes the 64UL-S, designed for long casts and efficient searching with sub-1 g jig heads, and the 711ML-S, which is intended for long-distance casting of heavier or more resistant rigs such as Carolina rigs and floats to target offshore currents and drop-offs.
